Does anyone here sell soy candles for other companies? How much can you make doing this?

I know a lot of people who make them - but not too many that sell them - they end up giving them away as gifts - I’ve gotten a few - - here are the problems….
They dont burn well….soy just isn’t the best medium for candles, try mixing it with other waxes, palm, candeliea, etc.
And you have to be real careful about the wick/container size ratio - other wise they burn too hot, which gives them a short burn time, sooty, scent flash burns etc.
Be real careful with those and you might be ok.
Do a lot of research first.

I am a distributor for Mia Bella candles, which are made of a vegetable blend rather than soy (it actually holds the scent better and burns much cleaner). I think it is a great business opportunity. The nice thing about our company is that it has only been around since 2002, and we only have about 5000 distributors at this point (but it is growing everyday). So, it’s a good chance to get in early and build a good network of distributors under you. I actually started my business as a way to earn money for the American Cancer Society, but I’m having so much fun doing it that I’m building a team of my own and getting into other aspects of the business.
