soy candles
Jess asked:

I just got one today for the first time & I love it!! I love candles, but this is one of the first I’ve had that actually burns evenly! It’s great!
The label says that it’s supposed to be better for the enviornment, do you know if that’s true?

    Soy candles are…

    Made of 100% vegetable by-product, not a petroleum by-product.
Easier on people with breathing problems.
Usually made from soybeans grown in the United States, supporting our economy & farmers.
Non-toxic and non-carcinogenic, 95% less soot than wax candles!
Cleaner burning, cooler & longer lasting than paraffin or gel.

And they usually use 100% cotton braid for there wicks so no lead or zinc.

No, but if you need light they are great and if hungry you can eat them.

I just found a new “eco-friendly” store in the neighborhood, and I bet they have them! I’ll be checking it out soon (I’ve looked at the website already) and I will ask, thanks!

Supposedly, they burn cleaner and emit less soot.
